Antioxidant-Rich Digestive Tea for The Holidays

This holiday blend is caffeine free so you can enjoy it any time of the day. It is antioxidant-rich and digestive.

The Ingredients

Burdock

Burdock root is very nutritious. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Traditionally used as a blood purifier, burdock can help eliminate the toxic buildup that aggravates digestion, arthritis, and skin issues such as eczema.

Rooibos

Rooibos is native to South Africa. It has a sweet flavor. Scientific studies have shown a significant increase in  polyphenol levels after consumption. Polyphenols protect against oxidative stress which plays a significant role in conditions such as cancer, high blood pressure, asthma, and chronic fatigue.

Calendula

Calendula is native to Europe and North Africa. It is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. When used internally, it can reduce inflammation of the digestive system. It is particularly helpful with gastritis, peptic ulcers, and colitis.

Peppermint

Peppermint promotes a healthy digestion by increasing the flow of digestive juices and relaxing the muscles in the intestine. It aids with nausea, cramps, gas, and bowel irritation. Peppermint also eases fevers, headaches, and anxiety.

Cinnamon bark

Widely known for its culinary uses, cinnamon is a warming digestive remedy. It can help with indigestion, nausea, and general sluggishness in the digestive tract. It is also helpful in stabilizing blood sugar levels and promoting circulation.
